This is not just a trek — it's a homecoming. The Aët Bou Oulli valley is where Atlas Folks founder Ayoub was born and raised. For eight days, walk the paths of his childhood, meet his extended family, and experience the deep hospitality of mountain farmers and shepherds.
Drive via Azilal deep into the central High Atlas. Arrive at Tissent in the Aët Bou Oulli valley. Your host family welcomes you home.
Walk balcony paths between villages. Meet farmers and shepherds. Lunch with families in their seasonal mountain homes.
Begin the traverse toward the M'Goun massif. Camp at Tarkeddit plateau (3,800m) among nomad tents.
Optional ascent to 4,071m — the roof of the High Atlas. Non-technical but demanding.
Cross the historic pass named after the tribe. The circle is complete. Descend to Aarous.
Final breakfast in the mountains before transferring back.
